Securities and Exchange Comm.

Dear Securities and Exchange Comm.,

We desperately need full disclosure when it comes to our elections. Shareholders deserve to know who is buying off the politicians! Our govt. has become so corrupt because of big money, that we can no longer get our country back on fiscal track. We keep limping along with millions losing their jobs and homes, because the rich people pay for politicians to vote for their best interests, which is not what's best for the country or the majority of the people.

Therefore, I urge the commission’s prompt approval of rules requiring public disclosure of political spending by publicly-held companies. Disclosure is vital to the SEC’s responsibility to ensure that investors have the information they need to make sound decisions about when and where to put their money. Shareholders also have a right to know how companies in their investment portfolios are investing that money, particularly when the spending falls outside the company’s normal business activity.

Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,

Gayle Janzen
