The Securities and Exchange Commission must issue the proposed rule requiring publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their political spending. The rule is needed now.

By hiding such corporations, such companies keep their shareholders as well as the general public from know how their money is being used. That is malfeasance at a serious level. The agency must force corporate officers to report honestly to their shareholders and the public.
