The Securities and Exchange Commission
Dear Securities and Exchange Commission,
Who benefits from the secrecy around contribs to political campaigns?
Not the people. Not democracy. Aha! It must be the corporations. Is
this right, fair, American? Time for a major overhaul of this corrupt
system. Past due, in fact.
Now who will have the courage to face down the corporations?
Only the SEC has the power, but will it exercise that power? How
"American" is the SEC?
We'll see.
