We are regulated enough. The SEC has done a very proper job of regulation requirements.
We do not want or need the governments fiduciary standard protection. We get regular audits from our company. We have annual meetings. We get regular updates on the changing requirements. We have to take a required test every 3 years.
That's more regulations than all of my other insurance licenses combined.
Please stay in control, and don't let the government get into another area which they are not familiar with.
