I don't believe this additional scrutiny is needed as we are regulated almost too much at times now. Our company, NYLIFE Securities does a commendable job of regulation. Maybe we need to look to the broker dealers who are not doing their jobs. I know there are times when another broker dealer will allow something that ours will not.
