The suitability standard governing broker-dealers and registered representatives is a robust and heavily enforced standard. I encourage you to compare our platform to the fiduciary standards governing investment advisers.
As an experienced field partner who has had direct supervision for a company's field leaders, I am confident another layer of regulation will not add additional protection for "the public". Furthermore, I believe the current suitability standard for registered representatives is fully enforced and upholds the commitment registered representatives have made to their prospects, clients and our industry.
I urge you to NOT ADD a FIDUCIARY STANDARD on REGISTERED REPRESENTATIVES.
