I am a series 6, 63, 7, 66, 24. I hold my CFP, CLU and CHfC. The requirements to get to this point where difficult and challenging. I have to due hundreds of hours of continued education and I am held to a moral and ethical standard.

Being held to an ethical standard is part of being a CFP and it gives me a advantage in marketing my products and services to clients.

We are regulated enough We have compliance officers supervisors and training.

One major standard that should be imposed is the credit worthyness of the agetn or advisor that is making recomendations. They can manage their own finances why should they be able to recommend to someone else.
