I am a registered representative with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. I am opposed to any changes in the current regulations involving registered representatives. The present rules/guidelines are customer protective and are a stringent enough standard to protect what is in the client's best interest. Further rules and regulations will be costly and time consuming.
