To whom it may concern:

I believe that brokers should be held to a fiduciary standard similar to investment advisors. The claim that this would put them at a disadvantage in some business relationships should not be considered valid. If they cannot act in the best interests of their clients rather than those of their employers than that should be made crystal clear in the representation to their clients. Such a statement should be clear, unambiguous and written in plain english not some sort of stilted small type legalize. In short, if it takes a lawyer to right the declaration than it should not be used.
