I believe that anyone selling a financial product to a client should have a fiduciary responsibility to that client. Transparency is the key. Any conflict of interest must be made available the client. To put ones personal gain before that of the clients is totally unprofessional and should not be tolerated. I realize that the more rules we have, the more difficult it is to abide by them. Unfortunately, dishonest and selfish so-called professionals have caused us to reach this point.
