This industry is regulated enough. It is only a small minority that are not abiding by the current rules that we have- most financial representatives are honest, ethical and would do anything to help their clients.
Why punish the majority that are doing things correct.
Enforce the current regs. If the regs were enforced that we now have Madoff would not have happenned.
