I believe that anyone who provides personalized financial advice should be held to a fiduciary standard. That means you are legally obligated to put your client's best interests first. It is a common sense investor protection that the American public deserves. This issue is not about what's best for financial institutions or financial advisors, but what's best for all the people that so desperately need good, un-biased financial advice.
