I am regulated enough. If further regulations are passed I will simply retire in another year, dismiss my staff and manage my existing book of business.
The proposed regulations are redundant, will be counterproductive to those who keep their clients well being well in focus and will have no material effect on brokers who may be negligent.
Existing regulation works well, broker dealers are doing a good job in protecting clientele from inappropriate action. Reputable reps work with intensity to avoid misdirecting clients.
This proposed onerous and misguided regulation will do nothing more than cost clients additional fees.
