After receiving my Series 7 in 1970, I have witnessed an ever increasing level of government regulations designed to protect the public. As shown by the Enron and Bernie Madoff cases and others, reulations do not work if one of the parties is dishonest.
These attempts at protection have caused my clients to become very frustarted with all of the "new hoops" through which they must jump on a continual basis.
Please stop piling more and more requirements on investors.
