If the new regulations of 'fiduciary responsibility' are enforced,I will not subject myself or my family to the possibility of unending lawsuit defense because of vague definitions/interpetations of the regulation. I already am held to high standards by government and association organizations that have been defined and are understandable.If you are trying to protect the consumer I would have to basically tell them to bury their money because of all the risks involved...then i could even be subject to a lawsuit Products would all be cookie cutter and the same since we would all have to offer the same thing.
There are crooks in every business,but the way to protect consumers is not to make it harder for the good guys to practice their business.
