My idea is simple, stop making additional laws, and rewarding legislators for imposing new laws that water down the ones already on the books. Reward legislation that simplifies the laws make them easier to understand and inforce. Spend resources using the laws on the books that get the persons who are not in this business to help their clients, but make money doing nothing to better their clients postion. I have a series 65,63, 7. I graduated from University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA with my BS in Bus Admin, I have been in this business since 1997 and my father did it for 35 plus years. Our business has been built on going the extra mile for our clients, and all the laws are doing right now is making it harder and harder to do what is right for them because of a few abusers of the law. Why should my client suffer that I spend more time on compliance than on thier accounts?
