The current suitability format protecting investors with the option for legal action, combined with the current auditing and reporting is more than sufficient to protect the consumer.
Additional regulations will only increase costs which in effect are passed on to the consumer.
Our office only does a small volume of securities business and the regulations already are time consuming to follow. The standard of matching risk and risk tolerance to investment properly done works fine.
