As a Registered Representative, we are already under heavily enforced standards. By adding another layer of regulation, you will be adding another layer of compliance and even more cost to clients and us. I have been in the business of working with clients and their finances for over 23 years and hold life, health, series 63 and 6 licenses and undergo many hours of compliance and testing each year through my company and the state, not to mention the cost, and have never once been questioned by clients about my integrity or honesty, and now you want to add MORE cost and regulations to this process to take more time and money away from the time I am able to spend with my clients helping them. Please do not exercise your authority to impose another misguided fiduiciary standard on me. Please spend your time and dollars going after the crooks in our industry. Thank you for your time.
