Dear SEC,

Please do not put additional regulations on those of us who sell securities to clients. The financial destruction of the last two years was not caused by Financial Advisors but rather by large institutions who provided poor guidelines for mortgage acquisition, securitization of these sub par mortgages, and rating services that gave these securities investment grade status.

Financial Advisors have more than sufficient regulation now. Those that will break the law are undaunted by the most stringent regulations those that wish to operate within it must continue to be more tightly regulated as a consequence.

Inforce the regulations currently in place. Do not make new ones. Take aim at the real culprits and make them accountable.
