I have benn in this busines since 1991. I am a clu, CFP, series 6 63 and 7. I hold insurance licenses in 10 plus states. Our existing compliance thru our broker dealers, insurance carriers and states we are licensed has done a great job for many years and will continue to do so. We have 3 full time compliance officers in our office of 35 producers. When i started in 1991 we had 1 part timer. I spend 80-100 hrs a year in compliance and continuing education meetings. We don't need more rules and regulations nor does the govt need to spend more money on our professional oversight.
