I am a sole practitioner and find it difficult to compete with "Stock Brokers" who call themselves financial planners (without the professional credentials and designations) and attempt to sell financial produces to clients for a commission at a standard that most of the time is not in the best interests of the customer. They should be held to a FIDUCIARY standard just like I am when I discuss financial matters with my clients. I urge the SEC to put all of us under the same FIDUCIARY standard which requires us to put the client's best interests FIRST.
