I have been in the Financial Planning industry for 30 years. I am a Certified Financial Planner and an Enrolled Agent with the IRS. I do not have any disciplinary actions against me either in the field of Financial Planning or Income Tax Preparation.

I am writing in favor of the new fiduciary standards for our industry. These standards are long overdue and desperately need to be changed. Please upgrade the standards to the highest level of fidiciary standards possible in order to weed out the financial planner want-to-bees who are not helping people out but just lining their own pockets.

Additionally, the SEC needs to be msnned by many more personnel well versed in the financial arena and not just attorneys who, for the most part, really do not have a handle on the numbers to be able to understand what is really going on. The numbers people should be the first line of defense.

Additionally, banks should no longer be allowed to house brokerage firms.

This is of the utmost importance to the citizens of the USA.

Thank you in advance for allowing me to contact you.
