I would like to urge you put "client first" provision into the new financial reform bill that was recently passed.
As a CFP for over 25 years, I kno who important it is to have regulation to protect the public and to require that those who call themselves financial planners, financial advisors or whatever the vogue term of the day is being used. I've worked very hard as have most of my peer group to earn the confidence of my clients by making recommendations in their best interests and don't appreciate the few bad apples that have caused us to be under ever increasing scrutiny and regulation.
