This bill would be harmful to the financial services profession as well as to clients now in the future. Please reconsider this type of legislation.
In my particular practice since I am a captured agent, I look for the best possible suitable product for my client with in the products that are available to me to offer. If this passes, I will no longer be able to work as a captured agent offering excellent products services. I would have to become an independent broker looking for the best commissioned sale that fits the clients objective. Not an avenue I wish to travel.
Please reconsider this bill.
