To all concerned:
As a stockholder and as a citizen, I'm writing to support this petition, to the extent that it may help curb the continued ability of corporate management to enrich themselves fabulously at the expense of shareholders and taxpayers, as well as their customers, employees, and neighbors.
Moreover, I would be inclined to support all steps that would give more control to stockholders (including the U.S. government, in regard to bailed-out companies). I would go so far as to encourage the S.E.C. to use the U.S. government's power to dissolve corporations as leverage to encourage corporations to be good citizens.
