I have been a securities representative since 1991 and have never had a client complain about the 12b-1 fees. People understand that this small fee pays for the basic costs of doing business. My firm gives a high level of service to our clients and we are not fee based. We believe the money we receive from the 12b-1 fees helps cover our ongoing service fees.
