I fully support the ability for non-accredited investors to utilize crowd funding as a potential investment vehicle into various start-up businesses. This will not only create a surge of capital for American entrepreneurs to utilize to create jobs and bolster the economy, but it will also give the average American the ability to invest in our own future. Currently, only the top earners are able to make these lucrative investments and this has widened the income disparity gap. Albeit the inherent level of risk, Americans want to be given the choice. We want to be a part of something that could change the world. We do not want the government to write us off as incompetent. We want to be given the same opportunities as the ultra wealthy. We want entrepreneurs to be able to innovate and create. We are Americans. We are risk takers and innovators. Let us invest in our future and let us decide where that future will go.
