I am retired and manage my portfolio of mutual funds. My primary source of data about funds is Morningstar.
On the issue of fund expenses I do try to learn about fund expenses and have been diligent to keep them low. Nevertheless I strongly support you effort to require funds to make better information available in fund documents, and in up front locations in those documents.
As with labels on food and drugs, basic accurate cost information prominently placed will be much valued by investors generally.
