Investors costs change based on holdings price, this information should be calculated summarized to investors regularly on a monthly time frame basis.
The amount a brokerage is charging should be detailed to investors at each monthly statement as well as totaled in an annual summary.
Brokerages regularly deduct fees however investors do not know details on the amount or timing. This hidden transaction is sneaky does not allow investors to understand the actual cost of their investing decisions. It is not transparent consumerism hurts investors who do not realize the real cost.
