I believe that that the disclosure of investment costs in a simple dollars and cents format would be of great use to most investors and would help encourage fund managers (both mutual funds and hedge or other privately run funds) to minimize their costs or justify them to their investors.
In other words, I agree with the Committee's recommendation.
