I am an individual investor writing in suppport of the "Mutual Fund Cost Disclosure" recommendation. Requiring such disclosure is not only plain common sense, it is also a matter of fairness.

Most individual investors have little exposure to financial information. Providing the dollar amount to such an investor gives the investor a better opportunity to make wise choices when investing in mutual funds.

I hope you resist the inevitable pressure from the financial industry sharks who unfortunately will resist this, because making the fee amounts clearer will hurt their business. Of course in a free market such companies can lower their fees to be competitive with more reasonable fund companies such as Fidelity and Vanguard.
