I urge the SEC to approve IEX as an Exchange. Their concept of being an Exchange with a protected quotation can only have a positive effect on trading. HFT is a tax on trades that adds no value, only lines the pockets of folks with very high speed access to actual trading. Adding IEX as an Exchange can offer fair competition to existing exchanges and will, in time, prove to be a valuable asset for traders who want fair trades for their customers. I have always believed in the idea that competition makes things better for us all. LET THEM COMPETE
