1. The 500,000 ordinary shares were purchased by Presbia Holdings, an exempted company incorporated with limited liability in the Cayman Islands, in Presbia PLC's initial public offering.

2. The 9,666,667 ordinary shares reported herein are held by Presbia Holdings. Reporting Person, directly and/or indirectly, possesses the sole power to vote and the sole power to direct the disposition of all securities of Presbia PLC held by Presbia Holdings. Reporting Person's interest in the securities reported herein is limited to the extent of his pecuniary interest in Presbia Holdings. Certain other directors and/or officers of Presbia PLC hold equity interests, directly and/or indirectly, in Presbia Holdings. These individuals file separate Section 16 reports.
