This Report of Foreign Private Issuer on Form 6-K is deemed filed for all purposes under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.

Korea Electric Power Corporation (“KEPCO”) will close its shareholder’s registry from May 7, 2015 to May 18, 2015 to determine its shareholders that are entitled to vote in the upcoming extraordinary general meeting of shareholders. The shareholders who are registered in the KEPCO’s shareholder’s registry on May 6, 2015 will be entitled to exercise their voting rights at the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders.
