Item 8.01. Other Events.

Michael A. Warehime, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Snyder's-Lance, Inc., died on August 23, 2014. His drive to build a national company is reflected in his vision and strategy which started with Snyder's of Hanover, Inc. and has continued with Snyder's-Lance, Inc. His determination to build strong brands and a national direct store delivery system are the cornerstones of the Company's current success.
