E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company (the “Company”) filed its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2007 (“2007 10-K”) on February 19, 2008. As a participant in the Securities and Exchange Commission’s voluntary XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) program, the Company has attached as Exhibit 100 to this Current Report on Form 8-K the following financial statements from the Company’s 2007 10-K formatted in XBRL: (i) the Consolidated Income Statements for the years ended December 31, 2007, 2006 and 2005, (ii) the Consolidated Balance Sheets as of December 31, 2007 and 2006, (iii) the Consolidated Statements of Cash Flows for the years ended December 31, 2007, 2006 and 2005, and (iv) the Consolidated Statements of Stockholders’ Equity for the years ended December 31, 2007, 2006 and 2005.
