Explanation of Responses:

1. Shareholders are referred to the Form Type: 4 filed on February 28, 2023 wherein shareholders were advised of dealings in securities by directors of MiX Telematics and a director of a major subsidiary of Mix Telematics arising from the exercise of share appreciation rights ("SARs") under the MiX Telematics Limited Long-Term Incentive Plan and their intention to dispose of certain shares. Shareholders are accordingly advised that following the trades detailed above, Charles Tasker has now sold 460 336 shares. Following the conclusion of the exercise of these SARs, Charles Tasker's total shareholding in MiX Telematics remains unchanged at 326 669 American Depository Shares (equivalent to 8 166 744 MiX Telematics ordinary shares).

2. The conversion price reflects the approximate conversion rate of Rand 18.2075 per U.S Dollar as of March 06, 2023.
