Explanation of Responses:

1. Maple Structure Holdings LLC is controlled by Jack W. Hanks.

2. Maple Resources Corporation is controlled by Jack W. Hanks.

3. All references to Class A Common Stock in prior reports have been changed to Common Stock as a result of recapitalizations completed by the issuer.

4. All share numbers give effect to a 1 for 10,000 reverse split which was effective on July 1, 2021. Fractional shares resulting from the reverse split were rounded to the nearest whole share.

5. On September 21, 2021, MMEX issued shares which it had previously committed to be issued in settlement of notes payable, but had been unable to issue due to lack of authorized shares.
