Item 8.01
Other Events.
On February 13, 2019, Invitation Homes Inc. (the “Company”) and Starwood Waypoint Homes (“SWH”) (which merged with the Company in November 2017), each received a letter from the staff of the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) stating that the SEC has concluded the previously disclosed investigation captioned “In the Matter of Certain Single Family Rental Securitizations” as to the Company and SWH (and their predecessors), and that the SEC does not intend to recommend an enforcement action against the Company and SWH.
