Common Stock Dividend

On October 1, 2018, Global Net Lease, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the declaration of a dividend of $0.1775 per share payable on October 15, 2018, November 15, 2018 and December 17, 2018 to holders of record of shares of the Company’s common stock at the close of business on October 11, 2018, November 13, 2018 and December 13, 2018, respectively.

A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K. Such press release shall not be deemed “filed” for any purpose, including for the purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the “Exchange Act”), or otherwise subject to the liabilities of that Section. Announces Common Stock Dividend for Fourth Quarter 2018

NEW YORK, October 1, 2018 – Global Net Lease, Inc. (“GNL”) (NYSE: GNL) announced today that it intends to continue paying monthly dividends on its shares of common stock (the “Common Stock”) at an annualized rate of $2.13 per share or $0.5325 per share on a quarterly basis. Dividends on the Common Stock will be paid on a monthly basis on the 15^th day of each month (or, if not a business day, the next succeeding business day) to Common Stock holders of record on the applicable record date of such month.

Accordingly, GNL declared a dividend of $0.1775 per share payable on each of October 15, 2018, November 15, 2018 and December 17, 2018 to Common Stock holders of record at the close of business on October 11, 2018, November 13, 2018 and December 13, 2018, respectively.
