Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

This Current Report on Form 8-K/A is intended by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh ("Bank") to amend the Current Report on Form 8-K filed by the Bank on April 3, 2008 regarding the approval by the Bank’s Board of Directors ("Board") of the appointment of Gerard M. Thomchick to serve as a Director on the Bank’s Board. On April 11, 2008, Mr. Thomchick informed the Bank that he has declined the appointment to serve on the Board as he is unable to meet one of the eligibility criterion.
