On December 29, 2011, Corpbanca held an extraordinary meeting of the board of directors.  At the extraordinary meeting, Corpbanca appointed Mr. Cristian Canales Palacios as interim Chief Executive Officer after the resignation of Mr. Mario Chamorro Carrizo.  Effective December 29, 2011, Mr. Canales Palacios will serve as interim Chief Executive Officer until a successor is found.
