SMIC Selected as a Constituent of Hang Seng Mainland 100
SHANGHAI, March 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC, NYSE: SMI; SEHK: 981), Chinas largest and most advanced semiconductor foundry, has been selected as a constituent of the Hang Seng Mainland 100 (HSML 100) Index. SMICs inclusion in the index will be effective as of today.
Established in 2000, the HSML 100 Index comprises one hundred of the largest companies (by revenue) for which more than 50% of sales revenue derives from mainland China. The index offers a comprehensive benchmark to gauge the mainland China sector of the Hong Kong stock market and is reviewed on a quarterly basis.
HSML 100 Index is one of the important indices in the international capital market.
