Item 7.01  Regulation FD Disclosure

On February 1, 2006, Janus Capital Group Inc. (“Janus”) increased its ownership of Enhanced Investment Technologies, LLC (“INTECH”) to approximately 83% with the purchase of an additional 5% ownership interest from the INTECH founders for $90 million.  INTECH offers risk-managed investment products based on a mathematical theory that attempts to capitalize on the fluctuations in stock price movements.  INTECH’s goal is to achieve long-term returns that outperform a passive index, while controlling risks and trading costs. INTECH manages institutional and private accounts and subadvises certain Janus mutual funds.
