Stichting Administratiekantoor Westend is the parent of Westend S.A., which is the parent of Artal Group S.A., which is the parent of Artal International S.C.A., which is the parent of Artal Luxembourg S.A., which is the parent of Artal Holdings Sp. z o.o. Artal Holdings Sp. z o.o. is the record owner of 43,247,893 shares which were previously reported by Westend S.A. on a Form 3 dated March 10, 2006.
