Copel’s forecasted CAPEX for 2006 was approved at the 111th Ordinary Meeting of the Board of Directors, held on December 13, 2005, as follows:

*CAPEX takes into consideration only the amount regarding Copel’s wholly owned subsidiaries. Copel’s CAPEX, being a forecasted amount, is reviewed on an annual basis.

The amount accomplished in 2005 will only be available by the end of March 2006, when the Company will disclose 2005 results.
