1. Shares of Class A Common Stock ("Class A Common Shares") were disposed of pursuant to retractions of Hollinger Inc. ("HI") Series II Preference Shares which are exchangeable for Class A Common Shares at the rate of 0.46 Class A Common Shares for each HI Series II Preference Share.

2. For each Class A Common Share HI received approximately 2.1739 HI Series II Preference Shares which were traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange on this date at CAN$9.71.
