Item 8.01 Other Events.

On December 19, 2023, BioCardia, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press releases announcing the first patient was enrolled and treated in its CardiALLO allogeneic Mesenchymal Cell Therapy Phase I/II trial for the treatment of patients with New York Heart Association Class II and III ischemic heart failure of reduced ejection fraction. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 to this current report on Form 8-K.
